Decomposed granite with stone steps and flowering plants
Backyard with White Bench
The sod was replaced, yard cleaned up and decorative features added
Fountain in DG
Previously this side yard went mostly unused and forgotten. We removed debris, trimmed the hedges and added a few flowering plants. The center strip is made of decomposed granite which now features a relaxing fountain.
In process of installing artificial turf. No final combing has been done as we still have some small fountains to install in the above planters. With 1-2 days this lawn will be perfect.
Tiered Garden Beds
This shot shows how the decomposed granite walkway moves through the various flower beds. Note that the flower bed in the foreground was raised to give the yard a larger appearance and the red shelf adds a pop of color.
Close Up of Garden Bed
Although this yard is not large, the tiers make it appear much larger than it is. The tiers also allow us to add different plants at each level which increases visual interest. Every time you look around you will notice something new such as these microplants.
Modern Redwood Fence
Homeowner was previously upset his view of neighbor's old sagging fence. We constructed this modern, horizontal redwood fence on the homeowner's property to cover up view of the other fence.
Flower Bed by Walkway
Little pleasant surprises around the walkway.
Dwarf Japanese Front Yard
We replaced the grass on this front lawn and planted some Japanese dwarf trees to add privacy around the homeowners windows.
Abstract Winding Walkway
We added new grass and planting some saplings in this backyard. We also created a winding walkway which connects the backdoor to the garage and a small patio.
Cozy Backyard Patio
Patio made of decomposed granite inlaid with white broken stone. This is the perfect space for an outdoor dinner or glass of wine.
Trees in Boxed Planters
This picture is from a landscaping expo we attended. We are always keeping up with the newest designs and products to better help our customers. We thought these trees and flowers in large box planters would be an excellent idea for a future project!
